About Eisa Saluki

I have been involved in dogs for most of my life starting as a young girl doing rescue with my mom.  I fell in love with German Shepherds and wanted to breed and show them. I spent many years showing them at specialties and enjoy it still to this day. However, breeding GSD's has not been possible for me due to various reasons. Over the years I spent many weekends at dog shows as a junior handler showing my Yorkshire Terrier in junior showmanship competition and agility. As I spent time at the shows I saw many different breeds and I spotted a gorgeous dog with the most captivating eyes. The Saluki would eventually become my next breed. So, fast foward 10 years, after spending many hours learning about Salukis, visiting breeders, getting to know Saluki owners and the breed I finally got my first Saluki while living in Spain in 2019. Needless to say, I made it my goal to learn as much as possible about the breed. Stella came from Croatia, Celestian Salukis and Afghans, and would be the start of a lifelong love for the breed. Stellaluna was the best first Saluki I could have asked for and is still "my best girl". Eisa Salukis was established in 2022 starting with my second Saluki, Siobhán. Siobhán is the foundation of Eisa Salukis. If you want to know what living with royalty feels like, get a Saluki!
